Handles of jute bags 

The handles of jute bags can be made from two different materials. The most common handles on jute bags are made from thick round cotton cords, also called cotton padded handles. These cotton cords are made of natural cotton fibres and have a soft feel which is comfortable in the hand. The other option is to have the jute bags fitted with wide jute handles. Jute handles feel a bit harder and coarser than the cotton cords. 

Printing jute bags

Jute bags are printed by using the silkscreen method in PANTONE® colours. This means that we can print the jute bags in all conceivable colours. We print PANTONE® colours in full printing colours (without gradients) on the jute material. Your logo or text will be printed best in this way. It is also possible to fully colour the jute material.

Material of jute bags 

Jute bags are logically made from jute. But what exactly is jute? Jute is an ecological material. It consists of long natural fibres from jute plants of the genus "Corchorus". The jute fibres are extracted from the stem of the plant and spun into long jute threads, also called “golden fibres” because of the shiny gold-like fibre. Jute is one of the most used vegetable fibres in the world. Jute plants mainly grow in warm subtropical humid areas, such as in India. Jute bags are durable, because jute fibres are extremely strong which ensures that jute bags will be reused and will last a long time. In this way, your advertising will repeatedly appear on the streets and you will contribute to a sustainable society. Jute bags have a coarse structure and the material feels somewhat hard. Usually the inside of the jute bag is laminated. This ensures that the jute bag has a strong body and that the outside of the jute bag does not let rain through. The standard thickness / weave of jute bags is named as follows: 13x13 PSI natural jute.
